Wondering how to be a dog walker?
Wondering how to be a pet sitter?
Do you love to exercise?
Do you love being with animals, especially dogs?
Well then get ready because this is your dream job!
Overview:
Because of very strong demand for our fun and valuable services, we're looking for animal lovers who would be interested in getting paid for exercising with dogs through walking and running. We're also looking for those who are available for pet sitting for various types of animals (typically dogs and cats) by visiting the pet owners' homes 1 to 3 times per day. Also, we're seeking those who would be interested in offering their homes as a private boarding destination for clients' dogs.
What we provide:
"Dogs Love Running!" provides you with everything you need to make money while having fun. We offer a very flexible schedule with clients near to where you live. Full training is provided so that you are comfortable and prepared to do a great job.
What we expect:
For dog walking/running, these services are typically performed between about 10am and 4pm, Monday through Friday. Pet sitting can take place 7 days a week, generally between about 7am and 9pm. Private pet boarding requests are made all year long. So, as you can see, we've got a variety of times and days that you can work. It doesn't matter too much to us what days/times work for you, as long as you can typically be available at least 2 days/week and can commit to that schedule for at least 6 months (hopefully longer). Of course, we also expect that you love animals!
Requirements:
You'll need to be 18 years of age or older, open to a thorough background check, and be able to provide at least 2 references. Most of the animals you'll work with are dogs, so experience with them is required. If you're specifically interested in providing running services, we'll need you to be able to run at at least a 12-minute pace (and hopefully faster). As a dog walker, as long as you can walk at least 2 miles in a day, that should typically be sufficient.
